This year’s common points take us to two very vibrant and distinct neighborhoods: Allston-Brighton and Kendall/MIT. The unifying theme for this year is “The Places In Between” and we'd like your help in finding all the awesome Places In Between that make these communities unique.
Just as we view our theme in many ways, your Place in Between could mean almost anything you want it to be:
Maybe it's within the shifting borders of real or imagined neighborhoods, or spaces that people create or reclaim for themselves. They could be hidden, overlooked or less-traveled paths or corridors, waiting to be discovered. Or they might signify areas of transition or development. They could simply be great places where you live, work, shop, play, or eat.
Here's how it works:
- Follow @commonboston on Instagram
- Post a picture of your favorite "Place In Between" in Allston, Brighton, Kendall Square and/or MIT
- Geo-tag its location
- Hashtag #CBForum
That's it! Your pic will give you a chance at a two $50 gift certificates to local restaurants in Allston-Brighton and Kendall/MIT!
There is no limit to how many pictures you can post. Winners will be need to be present when we announce them at our CB Forum on March 13, 2014 at the Microsoft NERD Center in Cambridge. All entries will be shown at the event... Hope to see you there!
