Join us on a formal tour of MIT's most avant-garde buildings and notable contemporary art collection led by Jeffrey De Blois from the List Visual Arts Center, and Robert Boes, Senior Campus Planner. Gain insight into MIT’s unique campus planning challenges and learn how art is commissioned for MIT’s interior and exterior built environments. We will learn about and experience several of the campus's architectural landmarks, including the Stata Center by Frank Gehry and the PDSI building (shown above) and the List's public art by renowned artists such as Alexander Calder and Henry Moore. You won't want to miss this!
Meet at the Stata Center (inside the Main Street / Vassar Street entrance) at 1pm sharp. We will be walking and making a few rest stops during this 90 minute tour
