At 15,000 square feet in size, the East Boston Branch features an open floor plan with views of the Boston skyline, dedicated areas for children, teens, and adults, and a multipurpose community space. A reading porch running the length of the building provides visitors with outdoor space for reading, group meetings, and views of the park. The branch was designed for building and energy efficiency and achieved LEED Gold certification from the United States Green Building Council.
