Boston Conservatory: New Theatre Tour

Leaders of The Boston Conservatory welcome you to the completed Hemenway Project, the $32 million renovation and expansion of a 60-year-old theater building. The project adds 16,000 square feet of new studio space and a 300-seat state-of-the-art theater including orchestra pit, handicap accessibility, air conditioning, improved seating and a host of technical upgrades. View the new theater auditorium, control booth and orchestra pit/backstage area, and four new large-scale studios used for dance, theater and music rehearsals, auditions and performances.
Founded in 1867, The Boston Conservatory is the nation’s oldest conservatory. Known for its intimate and supportive multidisciplinary environment, the conservatory offers fully accredited graduate and undergraduate programs in music, dance and musical theater, and presents more than 200 performances each year.
