Charlestown is one of Boston’s most eclectic neighborhoods. Its urban landscape comprises multi-million dollar homes, the largest affordable housing development managed by the Boston Housing Authority (BHA), a 30-acre National Park, historic naval vessels, industry, monuments, parks, gardens, highway infrastructure, public art, edible plants, a community college and more.

Join us for a full day’s experience designed to illuminate the many facets that make up life in and around Bunker Hill. A dance installation, provided by local artist Emily Beattie, and an audio accompaniment of community-members’ stories collected through artist Bethany Patten’s Story Box enhance the day’s tour.
