June 25th 3:00pm – 4:30pm

The Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center, known to some as the Roxbury Mosque, serves as a religious center for Muslims and a cultural center for many in Roxbury and the Greater Boston area. The tour, led by Barbara Sahli will focus both on this structure, which features many architectural elements of a traditional mosque, and on the institution’s place in the neighborhood.
Please dress modestly; including long pants or skirts and long shirts. Women entering the prayer hall are asked to cover their heads with a scarf.
Registration is not required but highly recommended.
