Mass Mental Health Center: Mixed Use Redevelopment

An inspiring example of partnership between a community group and a large institution, the multiphase MMHC redevelopment includes two new outpatient facilities (approximately 100,000 square feet) for the Department of Mental Health developed by Brigham and Women’s Hospital; a 136-unit residential building to be developed by Roxbury Tenants of Harvard; and a 360,000-square-foot clinical and research building to be developed by the BWH. Girma Belay, the executive director of Roxbury Tenants of Harvard; Arthur Mombourquette, VP of support services at BWH; Michael Liu, principal for design, The Architectural Team; Michael Slezak, principal, Linea5; and John Messervy, director of capital and facility planning, Partners HealthCare will be on hand to lead this presentation and tour.
